Scholarship Info Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University is one of the largest Business
Schools in Britain and has substantial postgraduate teaching and research programmes, attracting students and staff from all over the
world.
The teaching and research staff at the School totals over 150 including more than
forty professors. Of the 1,800 students studying at the Business School, approximately 500 are postgraduates. Over 100 candidates are
currently enrolled on the PhD programme.
The School achieved the top '5' rating in the last Research Assessment Exercise,
conducted by the Higher Education Research Funding Council in recognition of the international standing of research undertaken by members
of staff. The School has 'mode A' recognition from the Economic & Social Research Council for its prestigious PhD programme.
A number of PhD Studentships or UK Scholarship are made available each year by Cardiff Business School, Cardiff
University to outstanding students of any international students. The studentships may cover the cost of both tuition fees and living
expenses for a maximum of three years.
Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University has a strong commitment to
postgraduate research studies and widely recognised expertise across the whole business/management/economics research domain. Applications
for studentships are invited in the broad areas of Accounting and Finance, Economics, Human Resource Management, Logistics and Operations
Management, and Marketing and Strategy.

Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University are seeking exceptional
applicants with a first or very good upper second class Honours degree, or a Master's degree with an average mark of at least 65%.
Students of all nationalities are welcome to apply for these awards
Scholarship
Value The scholarships will pay half the first year tuition fees, value
£4,380.

postgraduate study and indicate clearly the academic school and area of research that is intended. The application form and accompanying forms

Applicants should indicate clearly on
the front page of the application form that they wish to apply for a 2007/8 Studentship. Please also indicate this in Section 5 'Funding'.
